3D Printing Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled 3D Printing Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printing equipment, ensuring high-quality production of printed materials, and collaborating with design teams to meet project specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a passion for additive manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various 3D printing machines and equipment.
• Monitor printing processes to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on 3D printers.
• Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on designs.
• Prepare and manage materials for printing, including loading and unloading filament or resin.
• Conduct post-processing tasks such as cleaning, sanding, and assembling printed parts.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, material usage, and machine performance.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in additive manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of 3D printing technologies and materials, including FDM, SLA, and SLS.
• Familiarity with CAD software and 3D modeling techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
