Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driver

Job Summary:

The Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driver is responsible for safely operating a light motor vehicle to transport goods, materials, or passengers, ensuring timely and safe travel while complying with traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the assigned light motor vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Plan routes to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and delivery/passenger documentation.
• Load and unload goods or assist passengers as required, ensuring proper handling.
• Report accidents, damages, or mechanical issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure basic upkeep between trips.
• Follow all safety protocols and company driving guidelines.

Requirements:

• Valid driving license for the relevant vehicle category.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Physical fitness to handle long driving hours.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
