Maintenance Fitter

Key Roles & Responsibilities Monitor the SCADA system and record daily generation, performance, and operational data. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of inverters, AJBs/ASBs, LT & HT panels, transformers, switchyard equipment, and associated electrical systems. Attend equipment breakdowns, identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and restore plant operations with minimum downtime. Support the achievement of plant KPIs, including CUF, plant availability, generation targets, and safety compliance. Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and coordinate module cleaning and field inspection activities. Maintain daily logbooks, maintenance checklists, engineering records, reports, and other documentation as per company standards. Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company HSE guidelines during all maintenance activities. Prepare and update maintenance reports using MS Excel and MS Word and communicate effectively through MS Teams. Utilize SCADA systems and safety applications such as Gensuite for monitoring, reporting, and ensuring operational compliance. Required Skills Knowledge of Solar PV Plant Operation & Maintenance. Basic understanding of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchyard equipment, and inverters. Familiarity with Gensuite or similar safety management tools. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Teams. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
